To get some life balance in 2013, why not give it a rest !!
This quick tip is kinda internet related . . .
because when you are online, you are usually stuck to a keyboard of some kind where it is easy to get engrossed and lost in what you are doing.
Time becomes meaningless, and considerations like good posture often go out the window.
So here is a quick Life Balance Tip for 2013.
If you spend a lot of time at your desk / keyboard, then get yourself a kitchen timer from the $2 shop, or use you iPhone, to mark 30 minute intervals.
When the timer goes off, take a walk, stretch, get a glass of water, etc. to break the routine of desk sitting !
Water the pot plants, empty the paper bin, do some other little task.
Almost every mobile phone has a timer of some sort, so there is no excuse.
Oh, and by the way . . . just hitting the Reset button without taking a quick 60 second break really doesn’t help!
You gotta be strong – use that alarm as a trigger to “Stand away from the keyboard!”
